Situated on the Braddell MRT station to Toa Payoh West Boulevard or Lorong 1 Road, this small food centre known as Top Payoh or Lorong 1 Food Centre is roughly 40 stalls long, but its meals are diverse and plentiful. This stall serves wanton noodles, and offers a choice that you won t be able to find at other hawker stands. Jade green spinach noodles rather than the conventional yellow egg flavor are those that they have on offer. The spinach noodles are not as chewy as the egg noodles, and may not appeal to those who like them super duper chewy  and go with the large wanton and char siew. The addition of slices of beef increases the appeal of the springy noodles.

#2 – Chey Sua Carrot Cake

Introduction: The first highlight is that Chey Sua are among the last individuals to make a batch of carrot cake featuring homemade rice flour, tapioca flour, salt, and you will discover that carrot shavings have been added to the mix for an extra touch of colour. The mixture is left to fry on the pan longer for a crispy texture, but only on the bottom, so you get a soft texture on one side and a crisp texture on the other side.
