Kinetic Dance Academy was established in 2004 by principal Yap Lee Peng. Located in Bandar Damai Perdana, Kuala Lumpur, it has two other branches in Kg Pandan and Balakong areas.
The main intention of establishing the Academy is to transmit knowledge of dance to their students and help students accomplish their vision because only children with vision will work towards their goals.
Their Academy offers classes in ballet, aerobics, yoga, Chinese traditional dances, pop dance, dance teacher training course and many more dance styles . Besides conducting their courses, they also pay attention to students’ behavior and nurture and guide them to behave and act professionally. This will benefit students for their entire lifetime. Teachers are graduates from their teachers’ training course and promoted by the Academy. To pass on the vision of the Academy in helping more students fulfil their dreams is the Academy’s goal and mission. Since establishment, our Academy has trained a group of qualified teachers who are energetic and passionate about teaching and innovations.
Their Academy continues to do research and improve in all aspects to improvise the training of students, dance knowledge and quality in coordination with development, optimize the dance teaching process, improve the efficiency of dance teaching, and effectively implement quality of dance education. ln order to cultivate more talents and serve society, their Academy holds various activities every year. Dance grade examinations, domestic and foreign achievement dance exhibition, living camps, student exchange programs and competitions, international and domestic, are held and through these activities, students will be able to enhance their knowledge and improve their performance.
Kinetic Dance Academy and China Shaanxi lnternational Exchange Centre signed the [Malaysia-China Youth International Exchange and lnnovation Base] in 2019. This is mainly to build an international exchange training platform for students and provide them with a wealth of practical and improved abilities professionally.
In 2021, it is an honor to get Europe-China Culture and Art Exchange and Cooperation is concerned and invited Principal Madam Yap Lee Peng to serve as a professor on the preparatory committee so that she can communicate and cooperate with celebrity artists from all over the world, and let foreigners know more about the culture and art of Malaysia.
