Introduction:
Our venue is built on the edge a busy transport hub that holds great historical significance in the St Kilda area.
Built in 1857 to face the sea, this is the oldest surviving railway station building in Victoria. The construction of the St Kilda line enabled many early residents to reach their businesses in Melbourne quickly and conveniently.
The station building housed a refreshment room and bar, and the station thronged with holiday makers and day trippers visiting St Kilda and its beaches. Today, we try our best to perpetuate this notion of providing a place to relax, whether it be after a journey from the Melbourne CBD or after a journey half way across the globe.
