He had several partnerships with friends and eventually decided to venture on his own in 2012 under the brand name of Ah Hoe Mee Pok. Eric is the founder of Ah Hoe Mee Pok and he started his business at Block 501 West Coast location and has moved twice due to change of coffee shop owners. In May 2015, Ah Hoe Mee Pok relocated back to Block 501 Food Loft Coffee Shop, and has since operated at this location.

Eric has high aspirations in expanding his business. He partnered a friend in September 2018 to open a noodle shop in Katong but has ceased this relationship 3 months later.
