In 2000 after returning from living overseas for 5 years, I finally took a leap of faith and pursued my dream of working with animals and studied vet nursing and subsequently was lucky enough to start working as a vet nurse in a small animal clinic in Wellington.
It wasn’t long before she noticed there was a demand from their clinic clients who were looking for a professional alternative to their pets staying in catteries, so in 2002 Creature Comforts was born, and for the next 11 years, she continued to do both veterinary nursing and in-home pet sitting.
After having children and several years of working 3 jobs/ 7 days a week, she decided it was time to make a change and decided to pursue a full-time career in Creature Comforts.
She have learnt so much over the last 20 years, and she believe improved, so much that to this day they still have some of the very first clients we started out with. She believe that is a testament to the fact that we continue to grow and improve at every opportunity. she know that caring for pets in their own home requires a deep level of trust and responsibility along with unfailing and genuine love for all animals.
