Introduction:
For those of you that don’t know, they have a fantastic restaurant with their at Bar Stories. Habibi-san does a very interesting and honestly downright delicious take on Middle Eastern & Mediterranean cuisine with a twist of Japanese ingredients and techniques.
Their latest dish, served as a special this week, is their take on Spanakopita, a Greek spinach pie dish. They have forgone the pie, and turned it into something of a classic chophouse dish of creamed spinach with mascarpone cheese, kombu and the addition of Japanese curry. It’s a flavour bomb, that makes a great bar snack with our Bar Stories cocktails or as an accompaniment to the wood fired meats from Habibi-san.
