#1 – Oktoberfest

Introduction:

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival, held annually in Munich, Germany. It typically runs for about 16-18 days, beginning in late September and extending into the first weekend of October. This iconic celebration originated in 1810 as a royal wedding feast but has since evolved into a global cultural phenomenon.

The festival site covers an area of 34.5 hectares. 898 companies have applied for Oktoberfest 2023. 474 businesses were approved this year, including 140 from the catering trade, 138 fairground businesses, 196 market traders and several service businesses. #3 – Salon Du Chocolat

Introduction:

The Salon du Chocolat is a yearly trade fair for the international chocolate industry. Begun in 1994, the event is supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It has previously been held in Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Moscow. It was held in Beijing in 2009 and Shanghai in 2010, reflecting the industry’s interest in promoting China as a new consumer of chocolate.
