#1 – Beaulieu House / Sembawang Seafood Paradise
Introduction: Beaulieu House, originally the seaside house of a Davidโs family, who were in the mining business, which is say to be even older than the Naval Base. It was acquired by the colonial government when the Naval Base was planned. Although no building plans have yet been located.
When works on the Naval Base commenced in 1923, โBeaulieu Houseโ house the senior engineers and surveyors. After 1939, the Naval Base was up and running. Beaulieu House was used as a residential by the second in command of the China-British Naval fleet, Admiral Layton for 2 years 1940-1942.
During the Japanese Occupation, It was say to be used by the Japanese as a Headquarters, there were watch towers build behind the building overlooking the Naval Base. Rumours has it that there was a tunnel leading to the bomb shelters that used to be located behind the park.
After the Japanese Occupation, itโs used as Housing for Naval officers and their families till โComplete British Withdrawalโ in 1971. Itโs a Seaside Restaurant managed by Sembawang Seafood Paradise Pte Ltd serving Western cuisine, Chinese seafood and local delights now.

#2 – White Restaurant at Sun Plaza
Introduction: When you talk about food in Singapore, The Original Sembawang White Bee Hoon is very much considered as one of our uniquely Singaporean dishes that is part of our National Identity, much like Hainanese Chicken Rice and Chilli Crab.
Originally prepared as a homely dish by our founder Mr Tay, the dish today has developed into a well-loved dish by all, that tastes anything but common, fully deserving of an identity on its own.

Introduction: Curry is an authentic signature dish in the south east asia which were cooked by different races, where the common practice was to use spices to cook different types of curry accompanied by rice, bread or noodles. โ
โEstablished in Jun 2009 as a food stall unit of a small coffeeshop in Woodlands, Curry Cafe has shifted it’s operation to The Central at 6, Eu Tong Sen Street at B1-42. They will be shifting further to expand our size of the cafe to the present location at Canberra Community Club. Curry Cafe has been well received by returned customers on its unique taste, especially the Curry Chicken.
