Top 24 Best French Restaurants in Singapore [Edition 2021]

Singapore is a melting pot of food cultures and it’s no surprise that the island nation is home to some of the best French restaurants in the world. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or an elegant meal for two, there is a French restaurant to suit your taste and budget. There are many dishes that are considered part of French national cuisine today. A meal often consists of three courses, hors d’œuvre or entrée (introductory course, sometimes soup), plat principal (main course), fromage (cheese course) or dessert, sometimes with a salad offered before the cheese or dessert. Enjoy a lovely French meal at the most popular French restaurants in Singapore to date, based on the ratings and reviews of its customers.

1. Odette

Introduction:

Odette opened five years ago, they never would have imagined that this is where they would be today. Running a restaurant is tough, but when they get to work alongside a stellar brigade of truly passionate individuals it’s worth every moment.

Their approach evolved considerably to infuse a sense of place through product, technique, flavor and aesthetic. This principle truly drives Odette’s cuisine today. Through their evolution, they owe so much to their community who have supported them throughout the years. Odette would not have been if not for many of their customers who helped grow it into what it is today.

Odette serves modern French cuisine guided by Chef Julien’s lifelong respect for seasonality, terroir and artisanal producers sourced from boutique producers all over the world. While his approach is underpinned by the principles of French cuisine, his years in Asia have infused his approach with a sense of place.

Every touchpoint has its place and purpose, carefully considered in service of delivering unforgettable experiences paired with thoughtful hospitality. Their wine list is a celebration of the men and women who have devoted their lives to perfecting their signature; each with an almost fanatical approach to terroir, harvest and grape.
