Introduction:

Cassette Nine always and now more than ever endeavour to do their small part for the environment, they use low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) paint and recycled materials whenever undertaking new fit-outs or fixes, as well as energy-efficient light bulbs and electrical equipment where possible.

Recycling of all plastics and glass is paramount to them, alongside recycled paper for minimal print runs and refillable cartridges. Please do click their socials and check their website for up to date information and let’s kiss print goodbye once and for all! To minimise any negative impact on the local community, they encourage patrons to leave quietly and manage their venue in strict accordance with all licensing laws.

They care about the comfort and rights of residents in the area. They also believe locals of Auckland and visitors to their city deserve to have well-managed and safe venues in which to enjoy live music and local art (sometimes late into the night) in order for these creative industries to flourish and be economically viable ongoing. If ever there was a time to support your local music scene it is now, although they feel extremely lucky to have been able to party and enjoy each others company more during this pandemic than any other country in the world, Covid-19 has and will have a major ongoing effect on our industry, so we always need you to keep doing what we do, SAVE OUR VENUES and save their scene!

They are fortunate enough to have been a part of many fundraising initiatives for some amazing organisations and causes including Sustainable Coastlines, Christchurch and Haiti Earth Quakes, Black Lives Matter, Australian Bush Fires and many more. They are always looking for other causes to assist, so please feel free to drop us a line if you know of a cause that could use a hand. They’re proud and privileged to be even a small cog in this cycle that feeds dollars back into charities and creative industry in Auckland.  Without tooting our own horn, we do hope that people see all this as evidence of how important these issues are to our hearts personally and to the life of our business professionally.
