#1 – Chye Seng Huat Hardware

Introduction:

Today, CSHH is the home and flagship store of PPP Coffee. Within this beautifully conserved Art Deco shophouse houses the Roastery, the CSHH Coffee Bar, the Annex and the C-Platform

The Roastery offers a peek into the transformation of green beans which intrigues patrons to coffee’s mechanical background as a prelude to their cup. Customers can also witness the roasters scientifically bring out the best intrinsic flavours of the coffee. 

Inside the CSHH Coffee Bar, the focus turns to brewing coffee with a concept bar providing a one-of-its-kind coffee experience with a 360-degree view of the bar. Watch and interact with the baristas as they meticulously prepare your beverage. The bar also offers an all-day menu, plus a variety of baked goods.

The Annex pays tribute to all things coffee, and houses a range of coffee products, accessories and equipment. In this retail space, they have dedicated coffee specialists who will escalate your coffee retail experience with sensory touch, feel, smell and taste of coffee. They will be able to share and advise you from brew ratios, to grind size, to best brew practices and equipment to suit your coffee needs.

The C-Platform serves as an intersection of knowledge and passion. Located on the second floor, it is equipped with state-of-the-art coffee gadgets, apparatus and machines to allow one to understand and learn about coffee beyond the bean. 

With every component of CSHH, PPP Coffee seeks to contribute to the vibrant community of Jalan Besar, whilst serving honest coffee and food.

The Refinery is a concept jointly developed by the crafty folks of The General Co and the space gurus of Architology.
